With a distinctly “rural” theme for the 2016 Rochester Addy Awards, we knew we would be able to bring a level of authenticity and understanding to the opening video. Various creatives and agency leads were intentionally cast as the faces for the piece, knowing it would strike home for the audience during the ceremony.
The piece needed to draw parallels between the hearty farm work that Upstate New York knows so well and the creative process and industry that we are immersed in. Pairing a heartfelt script with iconic shots from local farms elevated the video to something that feels timeless and we were proud to pick up a gold award for it the following year at the 2017 Addy Awards.
